If you haven’t caught The Preatures on tour yet, celebrating their critically acclaimed debut album Blue Planet Eyes. This my fellows, is you’re last chance.

After sold out shows at Vivid Sydney and Tasmania’s Dark Mofo, the group have decided to go on one last tour before they withdraw into their parchment and pens, looking to begin writing and recording for their next instalment. Busy guys indeed.
Dropping a brand new video for their new single ‘Cruel’, the eponymous tour will kick off late August and run to early October (with special guests, The Creases). You can check out the video below, directed by Byron Spencer, which features behind the scenes footage of a secret gig the gang did at Oxford Circus in Surry Hills.

You think you’ve had a stressful year? Imagine releasing a debut album, that album hitting #4 on the Aria charts, press, promotions, hitting the Austin City Limits Festival, selling out an Australian tour at the end of last year, and somehow fitting in an extensive world tour to USA, UK, France, Germany and Sweden.
Somebody please tell me what dexamphetamine’s this gang is on, and whether I need a medical certificate to get me through my week.
