Oh Mercy today released his new single ‘Sandy’, which premiered on triple j last night. This is the first single from the upcoming album due for release later this year. The album is created from his time spent in the States where he was disconnected from his roots. With his recent return to Melbourne, he uploaded a travel diary, allowing fans to see his inspirations and adventures.

The single will be available digitally this Friday 13th March and can be pre-ordered, as well as a limited edition white vinyl 7″ with the unreleased track ‘Iron Cross’ featuring on the single. The news gets even better, as people who pre-order the vinyl can also get a ticket to one of the Sydney or Melbourne band shows – the very first for 2015!

In his music career, Alex Gow has won the ‘Outstanding Potential Award’ at the AMP’s in 2009 and the EG Music ‘Outstanding Achievement’ award in 2012 as well as receiving various ARIA nominations. With three of his albums released before the age of 25, his talent and accolades have him among Australia’s most acclaimed singer/songwriters.

Oh Mercy will be performing in Melbourne and Sydney in April this year with special guest Pearls.
