Handpicked from Seattle duo Odesza, producer Greyhat has some serious tunes to share. With that quirky description on Soundcloud; “i make songs and put them on the internet,” Greyhat has modestly been doing exactly that for the past few years.

Now, as the fourth release from Odesza’s Foreign Family Collective, Greyhat has created ‘Glider’ a shimmering track that is laden with harp glitches and gritty textures. Underlaying this is a looming bass and a funky beat full of groove.

Greyhat has already collaborated with some of electronic music’s most forward-thinking rappers such as Busdriver and Milo, made waves on a remix for Iglooghost and garnered praise from BBC Radio 1 and Majestic Casual. Hailed by Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight from Odesza as a “producer’s producer,” is a sure sign that Greyhat is one of those artists that will continue to impress.

Foreign Family Collective is an outlet for musicians and visual artists, curated by Odesza. Prior to ‘Glider,’ they have released tracks from Jai Wolf, Big World and Troy Samuela & Monsoonsiren.

‘Glider’ is out now on Foreign Family Collective through Inertia.
