It’s certainly been busy 2014 for Northeast Party House, and the band are showing no signs of slowing down. With the release of their debut LP, Any Given Weekend back in the May, the band played sold out shows nationally before heading back to their hometown to play another four consecutive sold out nights at different venues during September.

Northeast Party House are now set to return to the Ding Dong stage for one heck of a NYE party with support from Singles and the Black Night Crash, Ding Dong DJs, kicking off at 8pm on 31st December.

To get the party vibes rolling, we asked each member of Northeast Party House to tell us their favourite party songs to bring in the New Year…

Malcolm

Z-Rock Hawaii – Chuggin’

This track is just working for me at the moment.

Snap! – Rhythm is a Dancer

I heard this once at a New Year’s Eve party and it went down brilliantly.

Mitch

Jamiroquai – Canned Heat

One of my high school party playlist classics, it was hard not to steal some of Napoleon’s moves with this one.

Franz Ferdinand – Take Me Out

Again, parties in those youthful days were nothing without this track. I was lucky enough to see them play this at Falls Festival back in 2008….…yeah back when guitar bands were the kings of the playground.

Jack

Talking Heads – Naive Melody

Because it makes me fantasise about suicide and I find it romantic when situations that are meant to be joyous actually are incredibly depressing. Makes me feel alive.

Whitney Houston – I Will Always Love You

Because I’m as cliche as they come and want my life to be like a Hollywood movie.

Zach

Fatboy Slim – Praise You

Such a feel good track, I think maybe the only song that can up this would be Sandstorm.

Chic – Good Times

What better way to bring in the New Year.

Sean

Haddaway – What Is Love

I kind of wish I was a teenager in the early 90s so I could listen to this at raves.

R Kelly – Ignition (Remix)

Man, this track has gotten so many people laid.
