Dustin Tebbutt has just released a new track. And I love it.

Upon first listen, I felt like running out of my office and frolicking through a sun-drenched meadow, or something like that. This track features gorgeous folk-style inspired guitars with an airy lead that makes you feel warm inside. The track begins with Tebbutt’s vocals and just when you thought the track couldn’t get any better….. delicate, hypnotic and simply brilliant vocals from local legend Thelma Plum appear.

‘Silk (feat. Thelma Plum)’ is the second single from his upcoming mini-album Home, out September 18.

Nearly two years since Dustin’s acclaimed debut EP, The Breach, set the local music scene alight, garnering rave reviews and a sizeable fan base. His indie folk tunes, recorded in the depths of a Scandinavian winter, captured imaginations across Australia. Dustin then released follow-up EP, Bones, in May 2014 which led him to high rotation on Triple J and slots at Splendour in the Grass 2014 and 2015. Now, he’s finally coming “Home”.
