Handsome Tours have curated their own festival of which they’re hoping to create an all ages carnival atmosphere, on the South Coast of NSW in a tiny town called Berry on Saturday 5 December 2015.

Joining already announced artists including C. W. Stoneking, Father John Misty, Jessica Pratt, Mercury Rev, Ratatat, Royal Headache and Unknown Mortal Orchestra are Meg Mac her classic rhythm and blues and contemporary pop, Perth three-piece Methyl Ethyl with their reverb-drenched guitars and dream-pop. From Melbourne singer-songwriter Ben Abraham joins the lineup fresh of the back of signing with Secretly Canadian, the trend-setting U.S. imprint home to The War On Drugs and Anthony & The Johnsons, along with South Coast locals Shining Bird, with their uniquely Australian experimental pop and singer-songwriter Le Pie who grew up in nearby Gerringong.

With the team behind the festival currently busy sourcing wines and local delicacies from neighbouring estates, there is sure to be some delightful treats. If you want to head there a day earlier, you can enjoy Fairgrounds’ Cinema Under The Stars, Presented by Madman Entertainment on Friday, 4th December (Fairgrounds Eve). Films showing are Studio Ghibli’s ‘My Neighbor Totoro’ and rock documentary ‘Searching For Sugar Man’.

Just a couple of hours’ drive from Sydney, this an event that should be on your list Summer Festival list!
