Melbourne darlings Twerps have put out a new single from their forthcoming album Range Anxiety titled ‘I Don’t Mind’.
‘I Don’t Mind’ has its instantly recognisable Twerps charm with rough edges and sloppy yet perfectly in time groove. The contrast from the incredibly deep bass tones and the high pitched jangle guitar riff works wonders for the melodic aspects of this song. As the song builds to its climax, the drums kick into full gear, backing vocals are added and the whole sound sounds really full despite its simple arrangement.
This is a prime example of Twerps nailing the sound they created.
From what we have heard from Range Anxiety so far, its shaping up to be a really solid record.
