Summer Dance is back in Sydney (recently freed from Mark Baird’s tyranny) with another great season of outdoor parties. Get ready to indulge yourself in an eclectic collection of music, by artists from all over Australia.

For the second time this year, Sydney-based artist management company Astral People is collaborating with V Movement, FBi Click and THUMP, presenting the second Summer Dance of 2017 on February 19th at National Art School in Darlinghurst, Sydney.

Taking to the stage is Melbourne DJ/producer Harvey Sutherland with his three-piece unstoppable live disco outfit Harvey Sutherland & Bermuda. This performance features Harvey himself on keyboards, Graeme Pogson on drums and Tamil Roegon on electric violin, bringing electronic house/disco music that always manages to set a dance floor aflame.

CC:DISCO is a club DJ and radio announcer who’s been known as Australia’s first Lady of Disco. Through her radio program ‘Smoke And Mirrors’ on PBS 106.7 FM, CC:DISCO brings her music to global audiences on Friday nights. On February 19th, she will unleash her firm command of sweet beats at Summer Dance with a sure to be electrifying performance.

Making a name for himself as a staple of the Sydney underground, Ben Fester has shared stage with Floating Points, Jay Daniel, Omar S and many more. It doesn’t matter if it’s on his radio program with FBi Click radio, or at the underground clubs of Sydney, Ben Fester brings his unique music sensibility to the world anywhere, anytime.

Wrapping up the day are Sydney’s hottest talents Haiku Thompson and Rydeen. Playing a mixture of house and dance music rooted in funky soulfulness, and they will be a phenomenal edition to close proceedings. If you’re in Sydney, this is one not to miss.
