Following the release of their second single – ‘Mother Said’ – Elephant Eyes could have been forgiven for giving up on the band altogether. Lead singer, Kate McMahon, was bedridden by illness, and the band’s keyboard player, Michael Mazziotta, was pulled away by an all-too-heavy workload as a gigging musician trying to make a crust. It wasn’t until Daniel Coco joined the band that things started to pick up speed again. In a few short months they have integrated Daniel Coco and his guitar into the band and put all the finishing touches onto their debut EP, which they are pleased to release this winter on July 18th 2013.
To celebrate the release of their self-titled EP, Elephant Eyes head to The Workers Club on Sunday 11th August for a matinee show with Susy Blue and Mayfair Kytes.
