Melbourne Music Week (MMW) is set to take over the city once again! This years hub, for the first time in history, will be the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral.In all it’s 126 years, the neo-Gothic Cathedral has only been home to quiet contemplation and worship, but soon devotion of a different kind will sweep over the venue and it’s adjoining carpark. Giving music devotes a once in a lifetime opportunity.
The four main shows will take place on November 17th, 18th, 24th, and 25th of November and will see the likes of: Juliana Barwick (USA), Kath Bloom (USA), Divide and Dissolve, Wilson Tanner, Kirkis, James Tom & Jack Doepel (Krakatau), Two Steps On The Water, DJ Hell, Honeysmack, Acid Safari, DJ Kit, Sundelin, Sampa The Great, Fortunes, The Harpoons, Spike F**k, Marcus Whale, Anuraag (DJ Set), Wahe (DJ Set), Jacques Greene (CAN), Banoffee, Planète, Darcy Bayliss, Exhibitionist, and Jennifer Loveless (DJ Set).
MMW and Face The Music once again join forces with the annual two-day industry program that will deliver game-changing music industry conversations, creative workshops, discussion panels, and live music. This year’s a big-un! It will be Face The Music’s 10th year and will prove to be a guaranteed good time from the 23rd-24th of November.
For nine glorious days, the City of Melbourne’s MMW will transform the city into an even more thriving music hub than the city is renowned for.
