The wooing pop sounds of Perth trio Methyl Ethel are something to behold. Nailing the reverberations of an in-home recorded sound, the band released their first full length album Oh Inhumane Spectacle last month, and are ready to bring their live translation to stages across the East Coast for the first time with a celebratory tour.

Band members Jake Webb (Vox/Guitar/Songwriter), Chris Wright (Drums) and Thom Stewart (Bass) have accomplished so much since their 2013 birth, taking home WAM’s Pop Song of The Year for their track ‘Rogues’, supporting the likes of San Cisco, Courtney Barnett, and Oh Mercy to name a few, as well as landing 3RRR’s Album of The Week.

Now to add to their critical acclaim, the boys will this September embark on an East Coast tour taking Melbourne’s solar-power lovers Sunbeam Sound Machine, and Monday-itis curers Good Morning along for the ride.
