Signing to Chapter Music earlier this year, Brisbane teens The Goon Sax have caught the attention of beady-eyed fans all over. And with a perfectly angsty, shamble pop sound – like in ‘Sometimes Accidentally’ – the attention’s well deserved.

Melbourne-via-Auckland duo Fortunes deliver a hip hop attitude under silky smooth soul. Opening for Oscar Key Sung during late last year, the pair have since released their debut EP Hoodie.

Dion Tartaglione – aka Planète—is an electronic magic maker from Melbourne. Earlier this year, he signed with Niche Productions, who’s home to Banoffee, Hiatus Kaiyote and Oscar Key Sung among others. His track ‘Altair’ more than justifies the hype.

23 year old Melbourne producer and singer-songwriter Elle Graham – better known as Woodes – has done a lot in a short time. She’s one to watch for sure, and with tracks as intricate and absorbing as ‘Muddy’ with producer Elkke, we’ll be watching.

The Hounds Homebound
Hailing from Yackandanah in Victoria, the now Melbourne locals The Hounds Homebound fuse pop and jazz and rock influences into an infectious package fusion. Following 2013’s Diamond People EP, 2015 saw some new music, like the bass-heavy single ‘Sandy’.
