If you thought the lineup for this year’s Falls Festival couldn’t get any better, you were wrong. The bill for the festival’s Marion Bay leg has just grown again — and it’s worth the boat trip if you’re not already heading south.

Aussie favourite Josh Pyke, blues artist Ash Grunwald, pop-disco pair Bag Raiders, Tasmanian locals Tiger Choir, musician-come-percussionist Ben Walsh, 24-piece sensations Chicada and 18 year old JB Seed winner Jesse Davidson will join the already insanely full (and insanely talented) lineup.

The lineup-boost comes after the Marion Bay Falls snagged the ‘Best Festival and Event’ category at the Tasmanian Tourism Awards for the second year running. And if that isn’t enough Tassie pride for you, Music Tasmania is teaming up with the festival to present the Homebrew Stage, designed to showcase all the original talent on offer down south. The new artists are set to join the likes of Foals, Bloc Party, Courtney Barnett and Disclosure to bring in the New Year with a bang.

Marion Bay tickets — and a full lineup of the artists performing — are available at marionbay.fallsfestival.com.au.
