After hinting at their return earlier in the year, it’s finally happening! With the release of their glistening sophomore record Portraits, London’s own Maribou State are delivering their opulent and critically acclaimed release this November. With Chris Davids and Liam Ivory themselves diving deeper into melancholy through sonic textures and arrangements, their set will be well-versed; framed against flowing harmonies and impulsive electronic hooks that Portraits heavily exemplifies. Joining the duo along for the ride on the East Coast are Melbourne-based tastemakers Kllo. Upcoming in the Australian music community, their set will simmer under the acclaim of their debut tracks ‘Make Me Wonder’ and ‘False Calls’.
