Melbourne dream pop four-piece Lowtide have revealed their latest single in the form of a double  7″ ‘Julia/Spring’, along with a small run of east coast tour dates.

A cover that was originally written and recorded in 1988 by the French band Asylum Party., Lowtide have added their shoegaze take on ‘Julia’ with the blissful dual vocals of Lucy Buckeridge and Giles Simon.

Side two on the 7′ ‘Spring’, was recorded by Lowtide during their album sessions for their debut self-titled album Lowtide with Gareth Parton, but not released on the album, saving it for now.

It wouldn’t be a Lowtide release without shows, so naturally the band are hitting the road starting in Melbourne and heading up north to Sydney and Brisbane.

‘Julia/Spring’ 7″ out Friday 28th August on Vinyl via Lost & Lonesome Digital available now via Bandcamp.
