Taking place in North Melbourne on November 14, Lost Children Found is a festival with a difference.

With a team founded by Kate Brouwer, the festival will see musicians, artists and small business unite, sharing their time and talents to raise money for those in need. With the goal of fighting poverty, all profits for the event will be going toward sustaining the Kenyan community of Nakuru.

Associated with Melbourne Music Week’s Self-Made initiative, and sponsored by Levi’s, the event will feature some talented Melbourne bands. Headlining will be the electronic group, World’s End Press, who will be joined by Foreign/National, Neighbourhood Youth, Tiny Little Houses, The Hounds Homebound and Little Shock.

Food and drink sponsors include Thunder Road Brewery, Starward Whiskey, Rice n Dice and Bang Bang Sweets, all of whom will donate profits to the cause. With the proceeds, the group aims to begin working on a sustainable feeding program in Nakuru, as well as an education centre for women and children in Africa.
