Melbourne’s own hard-hitting, gut-wrenching, psychedelic-punk quartet, Horace Bones have released their latest single, ‘Outside‘, an unhinged anthem steeped in regretful anguish, amidst an array of distorted guitars and grimy garage beats.
The track follows the band’s debut single ‘Tarantula‘, which earned them extensive national airplay and a signing with the 123 Agency and boutique management/record label, Thirds Music. After incessantly invoking their brand of “sweaty anarchism” around the country earlier this year, the local four-piece played an iconic sunset gig on the rooftop of Melbourne’s Luna Park.
Little factual information is known about the band, which is comprised of housemates Christian P Fish, Caz, Danny Cockburn and Oisin Kelly, though their bio on triple j Unearthed is listed as being written by their “Former Landlord”, who describes the band as “stinking of burnt Tobacco and pre-gig chocolate bars“, and “might just be the best band that I’ve ever had to evict“.

The group are set to tour Australia briefly beginning in May, with full dates listed beneath.
