Leon Bridges has announced his first ever Australian headline dates. Already announced on Falls Festival for December-January, Leon will bring his unique brand of vintage soul to Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Sunday 3rd January and Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Thursday 7th January.

Hailing from Fort Worth, Texas, the 26-year-old his distinctive soul-blues-gospel stylings had made him one of the most talked-about artists in 2015. With the release of Leon’s critically acclaimed debut album Coming Home in June this year; he shot to No.6 in the US and peaked at No.8 in Australia and the UK on release.

Already this year Leon has played to crowds at some of the world’s most iconic venues, from Albert Hall and O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in the UK to Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, along with a forthcoming show at New York’s famous Apollo Theater.

Leon Bridges will now add Australian venues and festivals to his fast growing international list.
