US rapper YG – who was set to appear at this year’s Listen Out festival – has been forced to withdraw his scheduled appearance due to the cancellation of his Australian tour.

YG, also known as Young Gangsta, was announced as part of the first-round lineup for the touring festival, which will treat punters to a day of hip hop and electronic acts in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Festival promoter Fuzzy has announced that two more touring acts will join the festival as well as “a host of others to be announced over the next two weeks.” The yet-to-be-revealed acts will join a lineup that includes a headline set from Flume as well as performances from Chet Faker, Zhu, Ta-ku, Young Fathers, Tkay Maidza, Shlohmo and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

Listen Out kicks off in Sydney on September 27 at Centennial Park before heading to Perth’s Ozone Reserve on September 28, Melbourne’s Observatory Precinct at The Royal Botanic Gardens on October 4 and Brisbane Showgrounds on Sunday October 5. You can check out the full lineup below.
