Brighton duo Royal Blood have just finished recording their highly anticipated debut album with producer/engineer Tom Dalgety (Band Of Skulls) at Wales’ Rockfield Studios, and are ready to get back out on the road with a visit to Australia playing shows in Sydney and Melbourne this May and June.

With tour invites from Arctic Monkeys, Interpol and Foals, the duo will be playing a bunch of big European Festivals too including: Lowlands, Way Out West, Bergen Fest, Reading, Leeds and Glastonbury, so we would thought we should find out which acts they’re really looking forward to playing alongside at their very first Glasto appearance!

Jack White – Lazaretto

Jack White has been a massive influence on us and we’ve not had the chance to see him live – really looking forward to hearing his new record. He’s a genius.

Dolly Parton – Jolene

Hard to pick one classic from the breadth of her back catalogue. But it’ll have to be Jolene. Maybe Jack White could come up and play guitar for it. That’d be huge.

Metallica – Master Of Puppets

I’m quite glad Metallica are headlining, I think it’ll be an interesting set. Everyone’s familiar with Enter Sandman but I think Master of Puppets will sound huge live.

Haim – If I Could Change your Mind

Not see Haim and I think we’re playing a fair few festivals with them this Summer – a good summer festival tune this on.

Bombay Bicycle Club – Carry Me

Favourite track of theirs – again, a good tune for the summer.
