What with The Doctor F***ing off‘ from his 10-year-long career at triple j, we now have official confirmation that Veronica & Lewis will take over as the new hosts of Drive.

It seems like the perfect fit for the much-listened-to radio show, with Veronica & Lewis boasting an impressive CV of roles in the Aussie media. The pair have hosted triple j‘s Weekend Breakfast and Weekend Afternoon for the past four years, and have worked with the ABC, Radio National, Channel 10, The Comedy Channel, with solo shows in The Melbourne and Sydney International Comedy Festivals.

The lanky pair have stated that the new show will be ‘technically the biggest drive show in the country…according to height’.

Joshua Merriel will be taking over from Stu Harvey as host of Triple J’s punk and hardcore program Short.Fast.Loud. Having presented Mid Dawns on triple j for the past two and a half years, Merriel will be bringing his wealth of knowledge about the genre Wednesday evenings, while veteran Stu Harvey focuses on his record label.

Over at triple j Unearthed, fellow honorary triple j scion Rosie Beaton will be finishing her program at the end of the year, after three years of discovering and sharing new music with the nation on unearthed. Don’t distress however, Melbourne musician Steph Hughes will be continuing her program.

Finally, on Double J, Caz Tran‘s Saturday Mornings show will be moving to Saturday Afternoons. And after the success of Tim Shiel‘s show Something More, the show will also be heard on triple j on Sunday nights next year, as Fenella Kernebone has decided to end her show The Sound Lab after eleven years.

Aside from that, you can look forward to another great year for triple jDouble J and triple j Unearthed in 2015!
