Voting is now open for triple j’s Hottest 100 – the annual poll which asks listeners to vote for the best songs of the year.

Previous winners all stand out as songs which distinctly mark a moment in time, including last year’s catchy ‘Thriftshop’ by Macklemore & Ryan LewisGotye’s world chart topping ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ (2011), Angus & Julia Stone’s ‘Big Jet Plane’ (2010) and Mumford & Sons ‘Little Lion Man’ (2009).
