The 5th annual Transitions Film Festival is set to return to Cinema Nova this February with a powerful line up of documentaries.
It’s got everything from break-dancing grandmas, global tax avoidance, pathways out of poverty and climate change history.
American filmmaker and Sundance fellow, Shalini Kantayya, will open the event with the Australian debut of Catching The Sun.
It’s a film about the new economy which shows the heartbreak of the unemployed in American.
Director, Bryn Evans, will also present his film, Hip Hop-eration, which follows a group of senior citizens on the quest to perform at the World Hip Hop Championships in Las Vegas.
