Film buffs and lovers of documentary-style movies unite. There is a massive treat in store for you this February.

The Transitions Film Festival is a visionary program showcasing ground-breaking features, shorts and documentaries about being environmentally conscious.

The unique festival, running alongside and as part of the Sustainable Living Festival in Melbourne, will be showcasing ground-breaking features, short films and documentaries that focus on the four key pillars of global sustainability: social, economic, environmental and cultural.

Running over a jam-packed week with two world premieres and seven films making their Australian debut, you do not want to miss this socially conscious festival.

Now in it’s third year, it is also Australia’s largest sustainability festival with a line-up to highlight the inspirational work produced by a cavalcade of true change-makers. People whose quest it is to make significant changes in our community empowerment, global movements, ecological economics and consciousness, collaborative consumption, social and technological innovation and eco-architecture.

It’s good to see something making a reel difference… (sorry, couldn’t resist).

To see the films screening at cinema Nova, head to the website, or go to the official Transition Film Festival page for full program details.
