Indie folk rising talent Timberwolf has released his brand new single ‘Fallen Sun’, and the dates for his upcoming National February / March 2015 tour.
Following on from the release of his last single ‘It Burns’ which garnered strong radio support and sell-out launch shows across the country in late 2014, the release of the brand new single indicates a busy year ahead for the 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Adelaide (real name Chris Panousakis).
Recorded and co-produced with Mark Myers in his Cairns studio, the pair spent quite a while conjuring the dark, cinematic swell and energy behind the song. It is a moody and hypnotic exploration of inner conflict, and also marks the first time Timberwolf has featured a female voice on his recordings, with tour buddy Maggie Rutjens contributing her haunting vocals to the ethereal-tinged track.
As well as the single launch headline tour, Timberwolf will also host 5 ‘secret’ shows around the country, that will take place in people’s backyards and lounge rooms in WA, SA, QLD, NSW and VIC.
‘Fallen Sun’ is the second single from his forthcoming EP Flux, and will be released through iTunes on Friday 20th February.
