Brisbane three piece Tempura Nights have just released their debut EP Whine.

Recorded at the garage studio of The Grates and self produced by bassist Andre Johansson, this release is about as Brisbane as it gets.

Drawing from their influences of mainly power fuzz rock (think Sonic Youth, Eddy Current Suppression Ring) they have crafted an EP full of driving rhythms, jangly guitars and youthful poetic lyrics (in a dolewave kind of way).

Released on the bands very own label Heath Street Wax (who released Teen Sensations’ EP last month), the EP will be available on digital and cassette tape which will include a bundle of merch, including a t-shirt, badge and poster on the Heath Street Wax website.
