Q Magazine have made a short video chronicle of Melbourne local Courtney Barnett‘s tour of England earlier this year. Throughout the video, while she and her band tackle tours with Billy Bragg, BBC radio sessions and shows at Rough Trade Records, she recounts in her cigarette-stained Aussie accent her time spent as a Hobart art student in her early-twenties, “drinking every day and not doing my assignments”. She also recalls the formation of her band, and The Triffids are even sung about, too. So really, the video just acts as a pert reminder that international success stories can still tour the world and remain heart-warmingly Australian. Have a  watch.
