‘Swells My Heart’ is the stunning new single from Tasmanian singer-songwriter Emma Anglesey, formally out June 15. It comes as the first single from her full length album titled ‘Some Things Can’t Not Be Undone’ due to for release on Friday June 29.

Delicate and meditative, the track begins with soft percussion, as a balanced acoustic guitar propels it forward. Dreamy vocals weave throughout as deep, rolling bass punctuates the song. Haunting strings bring the track together in a striking pinnacle of emotion and heart. Anglesey’s vocal talent is framed perfectly in the song, allowing her to showcase her talent. This dreamy track comes as a beautiful follow up to singles ‘Bike’ and 2016’s ‘Mary-Anne’ which Rolling Stone Magazine described as “a song that flourishes in its delicacy but is punctuated with grit”. This sentiment can also be said of Anglesey’s latest endeavour which swells with a gentle but strong femininity.

Coming off the back of playing several Tasmanian festivals in 2016, Anglesey spent time in 2017 supporting The Waifs on their 25th Anniversary Tour and playing the Woodlands Folk Festival
on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Her full length album ‘Some Things Can’t Not Be Done’ is due out on June 29. In the meantime you can check out her other tracks on Soundcloud here.
