The Stained Daisies are back and bigger than before, after a big city relocation to Melbourne. The band have gifted us with a new track aptly titled ‘Get Back Home’ that speaks of an intoxicated escapade that takes place on their very first night out exploring their new city.

Whether the band found themselves overwhelmed with the romanticism that comes with city relocation, or if it was just some classic liquid confidence setting in is never explicitly stated in the song. Regardless, the possé find themselves in a conniption with a sassy cab driver who momentarily takes them captive in his vehicle, the bands’ drummer Aidan Bateman puts the incarceration down to ‘Uber envy’. Brilliant.

Poppy, rolling drums paired with bluesy riffs greet you in the verses, painting a picture of their ensuing escapade before a jolting chorus wakes you up just in time to chant the catchy chorus. The track may just inspire a cheeky headbang or two.

If you want to publicly wiggle your body to this audible candy you can catch the quartet launching the single at The Tote on Thursday the 7th of December.
