The Port Fairy Folk Music Festival has unveiled its fourth round of artists joining the line up at the 40th edition in March 2016.

12 acts have been announced, including the likes of and including Irish-born folk singer-songwriter Áine Tyrell, brassy big band Bullhorn, soul outfit Emma Donovan & The Putbacks, indie-pop duo Oh Pep! and Melbourne folk five-piece The Paper Kites.

They join many previously announced acts including Archie Roach, Ash Grunwald, Cedric Burnside Project (USA), Colin Hay, DakhaBrakha (Ukraine), John McCutcheon (USA), Kate Miller-Heidke, Katie Noonan’s Vanguard, Luka Bloom (Ireland), Manran (Scotland), Mary Black (Ireland), Mia Dyson, Moxie (Ireland), Robert Forster, Songhoy Blues (Mali), Spiro (UK), Steve Earle & The Dukes (USA), Steve Poltz (Canada) and Truckstop Honeymoon (USA).

Culture, community, volunteers and music collide at the 40th Port Fairy Folk Music Festival, set to expand with a final line up announcement out in January 2016 ahead of the festival next 11-14 March.
