Macbeth:

From the director of Snowtown, Australian director Justin Kurzel, comes the critically acclaimed adaptation of William Shakespeare’s iconic and cursed Scottish Play starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard. Macbeth (Fassbender), a Duke of Scotland, receives a prophesy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King. Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife (Cotillard), Macbeth murders his king (David Thewlis) to take the throne for himself. Stunningly realised for the screen with beautifully brutality, Kurzel’s film co-stars Jack Reynor, Elizabeth Debicki, Sean Harris and Paddy Considine.

Wrecking Crew:

They were the studio musicians behind some of the biggest hits in the 1960s and ’70s. From ‘California Girls’ and to ‘Mrs. Robinson’, ‘You’ve Lost that Lovin’ Feelin” to ‘Viva Las Vegas’ and ‘Mr. Tambourine Man’, the group dubbed The Wrecking Crew played on them all. Produced and directed by Denny Tedesco, son of legendary late Wrecking Crew guitarist Tommy Tedesco, the documentary pays tribute to the musicians that formed the backbone to the golden age of pop music. With songs by Frank Sinatra, Nancy Sinatra, The Monkees, The Byrds, Mamas and Papas, Sonny and Cher, The Beach Boys and dozens of others, the cost of licensing this historic film was estimated to be more than $700,000!
