The brunette fox behind hits ‘Boom Clap’ and ‘Break the Rules’ Charli XCX, is heading to Australia’s east coast for her headline shows and 2015’s Groovin The Moo festival in April-May.
You may remember 2012’s hit anthem ‘I Love It’ by Swedish synth pop duo Icona Pop’s in which Charli XCX features. It was this song and her debut album True Romance in 2013 that burst the 22-year-old British singer-songwriter onto the scene.
In 2014, Charli XCX followed up her debut’s success by co-writing and featuring on Iggy Azalea’s global smash ‘Fancy’ With over 400 million views on YouTube, ‘Fancy’ is Spotify’s most streamed track of 2014.
Her melting pot of Nineties girl-power pop and straight-up punk will be joined by Adelaide’s Tkay Maizda, a rising star in the hip-hop scene with hit ‘Switch Lanes’.
The unique and rebellious songstress will perform her energetic shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
