Melbourne garage rock outfit The Peep Tempel have released the clip for their latest track ‘Big Fish’. Directed by Tropfest winner Nicholas Clifford, the clip exposes the seedy, money-fueled underworld of dog competitions, or more specifically “poodle competitions” because what is more Australian than a couple of poodles having it out?
The track hails from the bands sophomore album Tales and encompasses their typical grimy, gritty guitars and instrumental opening before the “yobbo” grating vocals kick in. We heard the first taste of Tales earlier this year with the song ‘Carol’ prior to the album’s October release which cemented the band’s unforgiving, uncompromising rock ‘n’ roll persona. Check out the clip to ‘Big Fish’ while you groom your award winning poodle.
