Musica Copa is returning for its second annual industry event which will see the music world take on the sporting world in an epic 16 team soccer tournament on Friday, December 5 at Marrickville’s KIKOFF centre at Fraser Park.

The event will see 16 industry teams competing for the $12,000 prize money that will be awarded to a charity of their choosing. Among the competitors are last year’s winners looking to defend their title, dance label Sweat It Out. This year they’re up against Sydney’s FBi Radio, Future Classic, inthemix, Elefant Traks x Umbrella, Ministry Of Sound x Mustard Music, Mushroom Group, OneLove and Pulse Radio as well as newcomers Audipaxx, Falcona, MTV, MAKER, Red Bull Music Academy, Sony, UNDR ctrl and Universal.

While the full teams have yet to be revealed, some big electronic names are set to make an appearance including Bag Raiders, Yahtzel, Motez, Emoh Instead (What So Not), Crooked Colours, Touch Sensitive and LDRU. The event will also include a dense DJ lineup that is yet to be announced.
