If you weren’t already convinced that 2015 was the year of Mark Ronson, you’re about to be.

Following his record-breaking smash hit ‘Uptown Funk‘ was sure to be no easy feat, but Ronson’s new release ‘Feel Right’ is the perfect song to carry on the success of its predecessor.

Featuring the raucous vocals of New Orleans native Mystikal, Ronson continues his love affair with sixties soul, with production that sounds so authentic it would not seem out of place on a funk-era record. As with Mars, Lilly Allen and Amy Winehouse before him, Ronson has made a great choice in working with Mystikal, who brings his trademark pompous attitude to the track.

Ronson also has a great list of music videos on his CV, this time getting Bruno Mars to go behind the camera and co-direct with Cameron Thomas Duddy for the track’s video.

A fun, energetic and hilarious clip featuring a a bunch of students bringing much-needed life to their school’s talent show, and a cameo from Florence Henderson of Brady Bunch fame as one of the “player-hating teachers that won’t let a little gangsta shine”, both this track and music clip are bound to be in high rotation in the coming months.

Mark Ronson will be headlining the 2015 Splendour In The Grass Festival. He will also be playing sideshows in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth:

Wed 22 July
Metro City, Perth

Tue 28 July
The Hordern Pavilion, Sydney
