The Auckland native has been making waves and exposing the world to the newest bands and artists since 2002 when he took over as the evening host. He’s exposed the music of The Arctic Monkeys, Gnarls Barkley, James Blake, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jamie T, and Kanye West just to name a few, all of whom appeared in his final playlist.

Lowe will leave his role of evenings host to move to Apple where his new role has not been specified yet, and current BBC 1 host Annie Mac will be filling his big shoes starting next week. You can stream his final broadcast here.
