The Australian Independent Records Association (AIR) has announced that Levi’s® will be a Supporting Partner of the ninth annual Carlton Dry Independent Music Awards 2014. Levi’s® will present the Best Independent Single/EP Award as well as being a Presenting Partner of the Official 2014 Awards Afterparty.

The awards, presented and produced by AIR, provides support for Australia’s fertile independent music scene and represents a fantastic opportunity for Australian labels, artists and the Industry at large to celebrate the successes of some of the country’s most vibrant and eclectic artists, something Levi’s® recognises.

Past winners include Flume, Chet Faker, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Parkway Drive, Gurrumul, The Drones and Dan Sultan.
King Gizzard, who recently made “pretty much” their entire discography available for free download, were also the inaugural winners of the $50,000 Carlton Dry Global Music Grant last year, with applications for this year’s grant now open.
