As the 2015 St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival draws nearer, as do its sideshows. This year’s lineup has been largely hailed as one of the best lineups yet; with the festival seeming to pull acts from across the globe on the sole criteria that they had a really successful 2014. Canada’s Mac DeMarco (and his mum Agnes), New Zealand’s Connan Mockasin, Britain’s FKA Twigs, Sweden’s Little Dragon, Scotland’s Rustie, and Americans Benjamin Booker and Perfect Pussy serve as just a few examples.
And thus, the sideshows. The many many sideshows. Below is a list of all the Laneway sideshows we can find, both recently announced and previously announced, sold out and I guess, not sold out. I’ve highlighted in green the shows that haven’t yet sold out, and all ages shows in purple. Be warned: the Australian acts generally aren’t doing sideshows, and for some reason there are no sideshows in Brisbane and Perth. For those just skimming through the article, here’s a guide to what the colours mean:
