UK siblings Kitty, Daisy & Lewis are all set to hit the stage at a sold out Splendour In The Grass festival this July, and have just announced the supports for a run of special headline dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Joining them in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide will be Melbourne band Big Smoke, and in Perth, local alt-country songstress Ruby Boots will be supporting.

With pop, country and soul sensibilities, Melbourne’s Big Smoke delivers hard-fought-and-won lyrics and classic tunes. The past year has seen the group tour regularly along the East Coast and also release the single ‘Try A Little Love’ which has had spins on Triple J, Double J, Rage and was embraced by community radio nationwide.

WA’s flame-haired Ruby Boots (aka Bex Chilcott) is Australia’s answer to Americana. Earlier this year she released her debut album Solitude to glowing reviews and a run of co-headline album tour shows with Raised By Eagles, gathering many fans along the way.

Recorded at the band’s DIY, old school analog studio in London and produced by Mick Jones, KD&L’s latest album Kitty, Daisy & Lewis – The Third delivers more of the unique blend of rock n’ roll, soul and skiffle that has to date sold over a quarter of a million albums worldwide!

Currently playing shows across Europe, the trio just performed at Glastonbury in the UK and Pinkpop in Netherlands alongside the likes of First Aid Kit and Muse, and played British Summer Time Festival alongside fellow Splendour act Blur. The will also hit T in the Park and Fuji Festival before they bring the rockabilly vibes to stages around Australia.
