Kendrick Lamar gets his groove on in the video for his most recent release ‘i’.

Beginning in a dark club, K.Dot dances his way into the streets of Los Angeles to spread the love through scenes of poverty, domestic arguments, alcoholism and potential suicide.

Directed by Alexandre Moors and the Little Homies, Lamar explains “I wrote a record for the homies that’s in the penitentiary right now, and I also wrote a record for these kids that come up to my shows with these slashes on they wrists, saying they don’t want to live no more.”

A release date has not yet been revealed for the follow up to his 2012 record Good Kid m.A.A.d City, yet it has been revealed Lamar is working with Dr. Dre and Pharrell Williams, and fans should expect “aggression and emotion” from the record.
