After delighting fans with a new album and a return to the stage this year, Florence + The Machine will play two sideshows alongside their Splendour In The Grass performance.
The indie ensemble will perform at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre and Sydney’s State Theatre, officially marking their long awaited return to Australia since a national tour back in May 2012.
With these shows set to be the only headline appearances on this trip Down Under, demand will be high, so a ballot system for tickets has been established to enable all fans potential access to each show.
All ballot entries must be received before 12 noon (AEST) on Thursday 28 May. Successful applicants will then be notified by email and given the opportunity to purchase tickets between 2pm (AEST) on Friday 29 May and 2pm (AEST) on Saturday 30 May via an exclusive link and with a unique code.
The news comes the week of Florence & The Machine’s long awaited third studio offering, How Big How Blue How Beautiful (out this Friday 29th May on Island Records); a collection of songs, written and recorded over the course of 2014.
To see Florence & The Machine in these iconic Australian theatre venues will be a special treat indeed…
