The tiny and relatively-newborn event known as A Festival Called Panama will return to the Tasmanian wilderness in early 2015 following its debut run back in March. Having already announced a first lineup which includes international acts Sharon Van Etten and Bombino, Australian bands Scotdrakula and Harmony, and Tassie locals Violet Swells, the festival has announced a second round of entirely-Australian acts.

Joining the lineup is Melbourne’s reigning queen of deadpan and detail Courtney Barnett, as well as long-renowned folk artist Darren Hanlon. Also amongst the second lineup is Brisbane’s The John Steel Singers, Melbourne’s #1 Dads, as well as newcomers The Furrs, Oscar Lush and Jed Appleton. There’ll be cabaret too — with Tiger Lil’s Sideshow Cabaret set to take the stage at some (likely drunken) point of the festival.

A Festival Called Panama 2015 will run between March 7 and March 8. Tickets go on sale on the 1st of December at www.panamafestival.com.au, and being such a tiny festival, I can guarantee you tickets will be very limited. Here is the full lineup in alphabetical order:
