Brisbane songstress Emma Louise has some being announcements to make.

As well as unveiling her latest single ‘Underflow‘, Louise has also revealed the single is her first official release with Liberation Music.

Produced by Pascal Gabriel (Goldfrapp, Ladyhawke) and premiered by Beats 1, the song offers an insight into the artist’s world and a glimpse at her new album – due for release in early 2016.

Like much of Louise’s work, her new single ‘Underflow’ captures a very real feeling and emotion, building gently to a glorious and luscious crescendo that washes over the listener in soft, cascading waves.

“I wrote ‘Underflow’ about that feeling that swells up inside of you when you know that things in your life are about to change,” Louise has said. “It’s like an undercurrent that at first you ignore, and it builds and builds until you know you need to make a decision, albeit hard and scary at the time. Then the change comes, and everything is new and different.”

Since the release of her debut LP Vs Head Vs Heart, which landed at #12 on the ARIA Albums Chart, Louise has kept herself busy writing, painting, creating. She wrote the topline for Flight Facilities acclaimed hit ‘Two Bodies’, occasionally popping up on-stage with the duo to perform the song in person, and recently nabbed the coveted support slot for Sam Smith’s upcoming Australian tour.

Most importantly though, Emma has just finished writing and recording her second album, and is now immersed in creating the artwork, images, videos and costumes that will accompany it.
