Melbourne surf-pop clan Crepes release their first slice of new material in 12 months with their new single ‘Hidden Star’. This track comes after breaking onto the scene with their debut EP ‘Cold Summers’ in 2015.

The quintet from Ballarat in central Victoria have found critical acclaim from local acts Courtney Barnett, Dick Diver and Twerps and after a stellar 2015 have been heaped with praised from the likes of NME and Rolling Stone.

‘Hidden Star’ is a dreamlike track that will make you want to drift through the day oblivious to your surroundings. It’s another step in the right direction for the Melbourne five piece and they show no signs of slowing down looking ahead to 2016.

During a time that seems inundated Australian Surf-pop bands, Crepes is ensuring they stand out from the crowd, moving to the beat of their own laid back drum.
