Sydney indie-pop four-piece Day Ravies have just announced the release of their upcoming sophomore LP, Liminal Zones, as well as a supporting tour and new single, ‘Fake Beach‘.
Following the success of their debut LP Tussle in 2013, the band have been busy touring with the likes of international bands such as The War on Drugs, Deerhunter and The Clean, plus local favourites Pond, The Laurels and Dick Diver.
Day Ravies also appeared on numerous festivals including Newtown Festival, At First Sight and Secret Garden, Victoria’s ‘Boogie‘, and the final Camp A Low Hum in New Zealand.
‘Fake Beach’ is an enticing taste of what’s to come on the Liminal Zones, showcasing the blended sonic cocktail of 80s and 90s indie-synth pop we’ve come to expect from Day Ravies.
In support of their upcoming LP, the band have also announced tour along the East Coast in July and August.
