In what will be their final Melbourne show before the launch of their long awaited 5th album, Aussie rockers Dallas Crane will hit their old haunt The Evelyn Hotel, for a special performance as part of the Leaps & Bounds Music Festival.

Having wowed fans and crowds already with the live debut of new material during their national tour in January and a gig in May, the show promises to be audiences first look at the remaining songs for the record (which is currently in the mixing phase and due for a late 2015 release).

Joining them for this very special show are old cohorts and touring buddies, The Casanovas, who have just recently launched their first album in 10 years, Terra Casanova, at a capacity show at the Ding Dong Lounge.

Rounding out the bill are new up and comers Singing For Humans who have been impressing local audiences with their take on indie pop.

The Leaps & Bounds Music Festival – which kicked off last Friday – is a 17-day City of Yarra run event that features over 50 venues in Fitzroy, Collingwood, Richmond, Abbotsford, North Carlton, Clifton Hill and North Fitzroy. Each hub will host more than 300 events featuring around 800 acts, with a focus on local talent, local venues and local audiences.
