Legendary Aussie rockers Cold Chisel will be the first Australian band ever to headline a concert at Victoria’s iconic Hanging Rock this November.

The band – fronted by Jimmy Barnes – are going on a One Night Stand national tour in the later part of the year, and the Macedon Ranges gig will be their only Victorian show.

“It’s great to be the first Australian band to headline at Hanging Rock,” said the group’s piano player and chief songwriter Don Walker. “It’s a location with incredible history and mystery. I hope we can add something to that, and I hope no-one goes missing.”

Joining Cold Chisel for this special one night only concert will be a huge line-up of Aussie talent with The Living End, Mark Seymour & The Undertow and Stonefield already confirmed to perform.

Cold Chisel’s set at Hanging Rock concert will see the band join illustrious international names such as Bruce Springsteen, Leonard Cohen, Rod Stewart and the Eagles to have headlined the iconic venue.

Rocking stages and the airwaves since the 90s, ARIA Award winners The Living End are no strangers to performing before sell out crowds, and with six albums to select from, they are sure to have the crowd rocking on their Hanging Rock debut.

Mark Seymour is widely recognised for his award winning solo career and former role as the frontman to Hunters and Collectors. Armed with a brand new album Mayday, his new posse, Mark Seymour & The Undertow, will be showcasing classic hits from both Mark’s and Hunters & Collector’s extensive back catalogues.

Melbourne female rockers Stonefield have spent the last two years honing their touring skills, both locally and internationally and have an album in the works for a late 2015 release.
