Welsh rockers Catfish And The Bottlemen will be retuning to Australia in July to play Splendour In The Grass + sideshows.
After winning over audiences across Australia supporting The Kooks in January, the band will return for the North Byron Packlands gig as well as two sideshows in Melbourne at the Corner Hotel and in Sydney at the Oxford Art Factory.
Catfish and The Bottlemen play loud, explosive, sexy rock and roll songs – full of guitars and energy. The four-piece from Llandudno, Wales, have honed their amazing live show, which sees vocalist and guitarist Van McCann climbing the walls and playing as though his life depends on it, while Johnny Bond (lead guitar), Benji Blakeway (bass) and Bob Hall (drums) keep up the action their end with powerful, thrilling tunes.
The group released their epic debut album, The Balcony, through Caroline Australia in 2014, and it was packed full of radio favourites, including ‘Kathleen’, ‘Cocoon’ and ‘Pacifier’.
Their latest single ‘Homesick‘ (below) comes with a black & white, video montage. A fast-paced look at life on the road, the video is a slickly edited clip created by Jon Stone, featuring backstage snaps, heaving crowd photos and awesome live gig shots by Jordan Curtis Hughes.
