A month out from the release of their highly anticipated third studio album, Sydney folk favourites Boy & Bear have dropped a crazy new video and tour dates.

Accompanying their latest single ‘Walk The Wire‘, off the forthcoming release Limit of Love, is a kooky clip directed by award winners Darcy Prendergast and Josh Thomas from Oh Yeah Wow (Goyte, The Paper Kites, Hermitude).

“The clip was a lot of fun to make. The concept was simple: Start off on the moon of course!” said frontman Dave Hosking. “Then have Killian explode, catch on fire and horrendously maimed, have Killian replaced by animated Killian who then turns evil and creepy, have us clearly unimpressed with things and then have the entire crew and clip descend into brilliant entertaining anarchy!”

‘Walk The Wire’ was written together as a full band and recored live to tape with legendary producer Ethan Johns. Bounding and full of folk-rock energy, the single is a great taste of what’s to come next month.

In addition to the album, the boys have decided it’s time to hit the road again and have today announced their Limit Of Love album tour. It will kick off in Tasmania on January 22, and move through to Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Sydney, finishing up in Brisbane by mid-February.

Joining Boy & Bear on stage across the country will be Art of Sleeping and Montaigne.
