Nope, it’s not an April Fools Day joke. That’s right folks, the Boogie 9 festival which will be held this Easter weekend in Tallarook, Victoria, has sold out… again.
With the likes of Pokey Lafarge, Justin Townes Earle, The Murlocs, The Bombay Royale, Dorsal Fins, Scot Drakula, Davey Lane, The Peep Tempel, Ali Barter and many more in the line-up, it’s hardly surprising!
As well as the wild bevy of bands playing, there’s also a kaleidoscope of DJ’s and carnies to check out for those of you who were lucky enough to nab a ticket early.
There’s Kitty Bang and her Speed Dating Sessions, brass monkeys the Bad Brigade, ski bunny beauties Honey Bee Venom, Swiss Alps entertainer Captain Ruin and much much more.
And for the first time ever the Boogie Magic Hour, ‘Acts of Absurdity’ featuring Dandyman, Ruby Rubberlegs, Dane Certificate, Danny Walsh, Emma Peel…..who knows what to expect here?
And to top it all off, there’s one weird and wacky clubhouse called the Hillbilly House Party.
